Validy File Crypt
- encrypts confidential data on demand on machines (PC, laptop, server) running Windows, using a secure token
- enables to exchange encrypted files by email very simply and without setting up any infrastructure.
To encrypt and decrypt files, a secret 128-bit key stored in the secure token and the triple DES encryption algorithm are used. The cryptography implemented provides protection unbreakable using state-of-the-art methods and means.
A customization program allows users or administrators to define and control the encryption secret. Secure tokens are available under the form of smart cards or USB keys, and they can be protected by a PIN.
